I went silent for a few years.
Not because I ran out of things to say, but because I was dealing with the same problem I had been trying to help you with.
I was wasting time. Feeling lost. Watching my to-do lists grow while my motivation shrank. And somewhere in the middle of it, I started thinking: who am I to help anyone with this?
I tried everything the productivity world offers: systems, routines, apps, and habit stacks. I even tried Bible principles. But it always ended the same way: I would feel motivated for a week or two, then burn out, feel overwhelmed, and end up right back where I started.
Recently, I realized I had been trying to manage time when I actually needed to align it.
The difference is astronomical.
Managing time is about control. Aligning time is about connection. In John 15, Jesus says the branch does not produce fruit by working harder. It produces fruit by staying connected to the vine. That is it. That is the whole thing.
When I stopped trying to squeeze more out of my hours and started bringing my hours to God, something shifted. The burnout stopped. The discouragement faded. The to-do list didn't disappear, but it lost its grip on me. I started moving through my days with clarity instead of chaos, because I stopped being the architect and let God be.
That is what I want to share with you.
Starting today, I will be sending you weekly emails about what it looks like to build a life and a business with God as the foundation for your time, instead of using God just to get more done.
It will be honest and spiritual, written for the Christian entrepreneur who is tired of the hustle cycle and ready for something that lasts. It will read like a devotional because my goal is to help you align your time with Him.
If that is not where you are, no hard feelings. Unsubscribe below. I mean that.
But if you are ready, stay with me.
I cannot wait to share what God has been showing me.
In Him,
Stephen
